Zoey Keene is a nationally certified physician assistant and born-and-raised Alaskan dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care. She earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Trine University and holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology (with a concentration in Physiology) and Interdisciplinary Studies in Behavioral Healthcare, along with a minor in Psychology from the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
With a broad foundation of clinical experience, Zoey has trained across multiple specialties, including pediatrics, general surgery, bariatrics, emergency medicine, internal medicine, women’s health, behavioral health, and more. She has provided care in both outpatient and hospital settings, developed individualized treatment plans, assisted in advanced surgical procedures—including robotic-assisted surgeries—and managed chronic and acute conditions.
Before becoming a PA, Zoey worked as a Certified Medical Assistant and Physical Therapy Technician. She is passionate about community service, having volunteered with the Food Bank of Alaska, Hope House, and Special Olympics, and served as a long-time youth volleyball coach. A former NCAA Division II student-athlete, Zoey played collegiate volleyball at the University of Alaska Fairbanks and earned multiple academic and athletic honors during her time there.
She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA), the Alaska Academy of PAs (AKPA), and the Physician Associates in Hospice and Palliative Medicine (PAHPM), and is certified in BLS, ACLS, and PALS. Zoey was also a recipient of the Jessica Stevens Memorial Scholarship from the Alaska Academy of PAs.
Outside of medicine, she enjoys hiking, fishing, sports, crafting, and spending time with her rescue dog—all while staying grounded in the values and lifestyle of her Alaskan roots.
