Specific Skills:
Pediatrics is my dream career. It is the perfect synthesis of science, child development and practical problem solving. I enjoy partnering with families to help their children with both acute and chronic issues of childhood and especially value nurturing the emotional development of young people during our ongoing relationship from early childhood to early adulthood.
Other interests:
When I’m not at work you will find me watching my kids’ activities, walking the neighborhood with friends or reading the New York Times.
What her patients are saying:
“Dr Michelle spoke directly to my son in a way that he could follow, understand, and recall later that night at home. Great way to get him interested in how to be and stay healthy.”
“All of the staff was wonderful. Dr Laufer was especially great with my daughter. I observed her to be particularly good at ‘reading’ my daughter, speaking to her in a way that was engaging, felt genuine and tailored to her personality.”
“Dr Laufer was great. She asked lots of questions to understand my son’s symptoms and spoke directly to him even though he’s only 3.”
“The quality of Dr Laufer’s care, even over telehealth, has been exceptional.”
